Description

We work primarily with solid Nyatoh and Merbau, two hardwood species known for their strength, density, and beautiful grain character. Both are locally sourced and well-suited for traditional joinery, ageing gracefully with use over time.

Our pieces are finished using natural lacquer — a breathable, food-safe grade coating that enhances the grain without creating an artificial seal. It’s the same finishing approach used in traditional Chinese carpentry and allows the wood to develop a natural patina over the years.

This technique uses handcrafted joints — cut precisely to lock together without nails or screws. Practised for centuries, it offers strength, flexibility, and a clean visual line. We favour it for its repairability and long-term integrity, and because it reflects the heritage of our craft.

Bespoke furniture is at the heart of our practice, but we also build custom cabinetry, and offer furniture restoration, refurbishment, and reupholstery services. Every project — new or old — is approached with the same attention to structure, material, and design integrity.

No. We are not a vintage or second-hand dealer. We do not buy, sell, or trade used furniture. All restoration or reupholstery work is done on client-owned pieces, often those with sentimental or heritage value.

Start by reaching out via our Request a Quote formemail, or WhatsApp. We’ll arrange a consultation to understand your space, style, and requirements. From there, we guide you through design, materials, budget, and production timeline — whether for a one-off furniture piece or full built-in cabinetry.

Depending on the complexity of your project and our production queue, most builds take between 4–6 weeks. Built-ins and multi-piece commissions may require additional coordination and lead time.

Yes — collaboration is integral to our process. We work closely with homeowners, designers, and commercial clients to translate ideas into tangible, lasting pieces. You’ll be involved from concept to material selection and final detailing.

We do. Our work includes custom builds for boutique hotels, offices, retail interiors, and corporate spaces — all crafted to meet usage, brand, and aesthetic requirements, while holding true to our hand-built philosophy.

To us, sustainability means building with integrity and permanence. We use long-lasting materials, avoid disposable methods, and finish with safe, natural coatings. Our pieces are designed for repair and reuse, not replacement.
